Post a picture of the first instrument you ever owned.

Sorry, they didn't have cameras back then.

 

Even if they did, I would take the pic of my first (Fender P knockoff) and throw darts at it until the cows came home... to this day, I'm not even sure what finally happened to it...

... and yet, I still feel proud of the effort I put forth that summer, earning enough to buy it myself...

My most recent instrument an Premium Ibanez 1605e bought for 2,200 AUD, other then that though probaly my Schecter Johnny Christ Signature, Schecter bought when 14 Ibanez bought when 16!

Woops! I thought it said first best instrument, hahah my actual first instrument is a homemade P Bass made from American fender parts with a Seymore Duncan Pickup. Made it with my dad who's a well known bassist in the area, just a regular looking P bass black with a white pickguard

No picture,but it was a ukulele for grade 4 or 5 music class. I was just starting to get the hang of it when the class ended .

 

37 years ago.
My first bass was a 1979 Pre-EBMM Sabre in "walnut"with a a fretted maple fretboard.
This is not it.
But it's close.

 

1988, Peavey Foundation- a great bass, wish I still had it!

 

I was six. my mum bought it for me, little did she realize what terrible noises a six year old could make with a cheap harmonica.
