Show what bass you use and then a clip of you playing it, it would be fun to hear and maybe help some newbies like me whose about to buy a new bass. Unfortunately i don't have a microphone :(

Well, its not me playing it and its a video, but the Amberburst Dingwall thats being played in the video is mine. Sound on the video is not the best, but its a good idea of tone.

there are some music videos on this page www.mesquitebible.org/video
that have me playing bass on them.
Just for the record, it's a Yamaha BBG5S with EMG DC45 pickups.

Every time I watch that video and see daniel play that Dingwall.... :smug: so nice... It takes guts to jam on a Dingwall.

It may take some guts to get up and try, but the actual doing of it isnt any harder hehe. I kept telling yall that day, stop looking and it wont bother you. Daniel mentioned he plays by feel not by sight, and so he didnt have any trouble with them. Its all in your head brother :p

Now back to sound clips discussion before the thread gets hijacked hehe.

Here is a recording of a tune we did at Grace Community Church in Plano, TX for a concert not too long ago. The bass line is simple, but it gives you a good feel for the sound of the bass. Its a Pedulla Thunderbolt 5 string, through a Kern preamp, and Acme lo-B cabs (my bass, Jeff Rader's rig).

It's not about the number of notes, it's about the groove, and that was a good feel for that song.
    Great job!

Hmm. Works for me. Try going to this page and clicking I'm so Happy. If that doesn't work, try Worship You. Worship you is a better song, but the bass is mixed too low. http://www.luciddreamer.net/music.html
