It's been a while since anyone's created one of these threads and I think we're due for a new one, so here it is. Here's my most recent addition to the family:

If you think there's nothing special about this bass, you're half right. It's a parts bass, made out of a Warmoth body and neck with an ebony fingerboard, Schaller roller bridge, Bartolini J pickups with a TBT preamp and four Gotoh tuners (The fifth one is a Gibson)

Apart from good components, nothing's special about this bass, except that the neck plate says it was custom made for Scott Henderson! Yes, the "Tech" in Vital Tech Tones. This bass is one of the best I've ever had. Definitely superior to a Fender, maybe comparable to a Lakland. Goes to show, it's all about how they're put together.

OK, let's see your latest basses!

Well, I put this in the last thread, but since I love it SO much, It's going in the new one too. I'm sure you're all sick of seeing it. :D

Its an Elrick Deluxe Bolt-On 6, with Bartolini pickups and the top of the line Bartolini preamp.

2000 American Standard Fender Jazz, blonde finish. I hope the wood grain shows up! Be on the lookout for the Fraternal twin P-bass that I am thinking of picking up soon. Same finish! *drool*

(reagan voice on -happy birthday ron!)
i have to say it....here we go again!
    (reagan voice off)

first, the basses that are coming...

this one's hollow, with magnetic and piezo pickups, as well as RMC synth bridge pickups.

you can't tell in the picture, but it has gold flecks in the black paint - very cool.

the bass in the back is an 8 string 36 fret fretted that will be identical to my fretless, first on the left below, and the neck in the front is a fretless neck (the lines in it have been filled with maple inlay) for the bolt on, #4 from the left below.

and now the basses that are here...

    gawd, i post that pic a lot :D :D :D

The one in the middle is the newest. Its a natural NS-5, the white is an NS-4, & the amber is an NS-2. All American. I tried to put the pic up on another post & it wouldn't show so here is the URL. Please tell me if it works. <a href="http://community-2.webtv.net/rinav/NinoBass/scrapbookFiles/mailedD14.jpg">"My Three Sons"</a> I also build a Warmoth/Sadowsky clone. I'll post pics as soon as I can.

I just got some pics of my <a href="http://community-2.webtv.net/theorembk/WarmothClone/index.html"><b>Sadowsky Clone</b></a> This bass is the best of my collection. It has an Ash w/quilt top, Maple birdseye neck & fingerboard, EMG 40 J's, Aguilar OBP-1 pre-amp, gold h/w. It's awesome!!!

P.S. You guys should resize your pics. I don't have a cable modum & it's taking FOREVER for this page to load!!! :)
  18. aww dont worry about the cat prize john, it been so long i can't remember if it was three or four. if it four he might be to the left of the left speaker. if its only four than your prize could be to post that picture more in the DB section.
