It's been a while since anyone's created one of these threads and I think we're due for a new one, so here it is. Here's my most recent addition to the family: If you think there's nothing special about this bass, you're half right. It's a parts bass, made out of a Warmoth body and neck with an ebony fingerboard, Schaller roller bridge, Bartolini J pickups with a TBT preamp and four Gotoh tuners (The fifth one is a Gibson) Apart from good components, nothing's special about this bass, except that the neck plate says it was custom made for Scott Henderson! Yes, the "Tech" in Vital Tech Tones. This bass is one of the best I've ever had. Definitely superior to a Fender, maybe comparable to a Lakland. Goes to show, it's all about how they're put together. OK, let's see your latest basses! Will C.
