    Best bass ive tried/owned.. Musicman Sterling. :)


    I cant really judge basses i havent played. Ive seen SO many that i tihnk LOOk really nice, but so many times a bass has loooked nice and i didnt like the sound/playability..

  8. But it's the best bass I've ever had, that's for sure! Lakland Skyline Darryl Jones that I rewired to include a series switch. This is a very nice bass, and now I want a DJ5 in blue to go with it....

  12. It has the standard side markers (larger dots on 3/5/7 etc. smaller dots on the rest. ) As for the front markers on the 2nd octave... at first I found it odd, but after playing it, you can see them better, and have a better perspective on them.

    I had an F bass that had the front markers on the 2nd octave over on the g string (as you would normally see). They were larger than the ones on this bass, but... these are easier to see because of their placement.
