This past Friday I played aboard a cruise boat on a lake in Indiana.

The venue advertised my band on a sign that sat atop an OUTHOUSE! Oh, the ignominy! :(:poop::sour:

    Post yours!

  2. This was our most "Spinal Tap" type signage. Outta Hand is the band that our guitarist and I were in before forming Hijinx. There are no words to describe what midget bowling is....disturbing.

Is that anything like dwarf tossing?

  4. I imagine it's similar but less air time. :roflmao: In bowling the "midget" dons a leotard looking thing and a back handle attachment. He oils up the lanes and people chuck him at the pins. As I said, disturbing.

And maybe the midget with the highest score wins a pin!

  6. Could have been worse if the arrow was pointing down.
That would have been crappy. ;)

  7. We used to laugh when we saw our band up there on the sign with “Fresh Bait”…those guys were pretty good.

And… my friend thought that Karaoke must have been a good band because they played everywhere!

And if it had been @5StringBlues' sign there would have been NO arrow (inside jokes to some of you).

Whenever I mention here that my old originals group was called Fina Dupa, someone tells me that the name is really close to “nice ass” in Polish.

    As if we didn’t know.

No doubt this was just a way of giving customers a heads-up regarding the texture of the toilet paper. Ain't that Charmin.

In Boaz, AL there is a sign which promotes (at intervals) both women's and midget wrestling.

Circa 1967 or 1968, a local ball field did different fund raisers.
Donkey baseball- players played all positions on the backs of donkeys.
“Midget baseball”— small statured adults playing the game. No political correctness. Lots of money raised for local charities.
Midgets on donkeys baseball probably logistical problems that couldn’t be overcome.

Not band related, but, last summer, on my way home from work, a midget hit my car with a water balloon.

When my wife got home from work that night and I told her the story, she asked how many beers I’d had!

If I’m doing the acoustic duo thing, we do funny signs for the tip jar. This is the most popular.

I’m Greg and people buy me a lot of Jameson. Whoops.

  20. Madam Carroll.

For the record I abused that bathroom like a red-headed stepchild before we disembarked.

Who did your sound? Was it Corey?
