Before and after pics preferred, but are in no way required. Ill start, Here is my 1990 MIK Squier II before and after.
Here's my parts p-bass - Fender USA Neck, Squier Body with all routings copper lined, gold anodized pickguard from a Fender California Series bass, Schaller D-Tuner, early 2000's Fender Hot Rod P-Bass pickups with CTS pots, Badass II bridge and will be putting in a Stellartone Tonestyler Ten tone pot and dual concentric volume/tone pot next week.
Here's my parts P/J Fender Highway 1 body, Allparts J neck, East U-Retro, Gotoh 201 bridge, Hipshot tuners with drop D tuner, Nordstrand NP4 + NJ4SE pickups
I didn't take any pre pics and the ad I bought it from no longer has them linked, but it looked like the bass below with 2 Jazz pickups (and 5 strings). Changes include a mahogany body made to match, Bartolinis from a Roscoe, Aguilar preamp, replaced the inlays with brown lacquer stick (I should have used a sharpie). I would have replaced the tuners with Hipshot ULs but the aluminum headstock is thinner than a wood headstock so they wouldn't thread closed.
For Father's Day my awesome wife told me to jump online and build myself something pretty Warmoth LPB P/J body(alder) Threaded-barrel bridge Blue Abalone pickguard Stacked-pot controls(V/T,V/T) SeyDunc SPB-3 P p'up Fralin single coil J p'up Flamed maple jazz neck with a curly maple 'board and reverse headstock Fender/Hipshot Ultalites 9lbs
Adler body with poly, maple with rosewood board with a water slid that I cleared, Joe Barden pickups, Hipshot tuners and Hipshot A bridge, oh and cool knobs.
