I can never pass up a face-in-the-hole photo-op. Mrs. BassCliff and I just finished some pretty good Mexican food near the Grand Canyon.

    Thank you for your indulgence,

  2. @BassCliff the one and only vacation my wife and I ever took involved the Grand Canyon. We stayed in a town called Williams and took an old steam train to visit the canyon. Good times. Your pic reminds me of Williams...also like the fact that you're promoting Corona... Can't get enough of that delicious beer :)

Anyway here's an updated pic.. looking forward to gigs starting in July... (once a bass playa always a playa)

    Nice montage! :)

As a matter of fact, we did stay in Williams for a long weekend. Unfortunately the train was all booked up so we drove to the Canyon. We also visited Meteor Crater and stood on the corner in Winslow Arizona.

I got the picture because of the guitarron, not the beer. ;) Corona is a good light beer. I like the darker brews. A lot of my gig reports contain beer reviews. ;)

    Thank you for your indulgence,

From the last century and probably the last time I played live, far right on six string duties this time and looking a lot different to how I do now. First gig with new band and on bass is next month. Shameless self promotion digital flyer attached see if you can work out which one I am based on the the 1999 pic...

    I rock, therefore I am.
    A few golden oldies. I have a twin brother who plays guitar. E3653D9A-B964-4BB6-8CFA-D3E410E4E170.jpeg 11638244-CC11-4C37-B637-DF3EFBE9E605.jpeg 0DDF40C2-BC7C-4D56-96EE-6EE086183214.jpeg 18898197-9DDF-46EF-B2D4-01681C8D7587.jpeg D567B33A-1585-4893-94A1-B011258047AB.jpeg

Old bands of mine...quite proud of the work I put into these (even if personalities ended up clashing)! First one was a country band, second was obviously a Prince tribute. :D

I love to have fun at Halloween gigs!

  13. This was my Wizard of Oz themed band or maybe it was just Halloween. Late 1990s.

  14. Had no idea Geoffrey Rush was a musician. Did he ever bring the monkey?

So you went from Jeff Skunk baxter, stayed Skunk, morphed into Rick Nielsen, and wound up as Stan Lee...

My current band is great but I do miss this lineup. Good friends, all of them.
