The signal to noise ratio in these threads has gotten out of hand. The chit-chat will stop. Edition 20 will be heavily moderated.

Any non-pedalboard related content will be deleted.
Warnings will be handed out freely.

Go start and "effects chatters anonymous" thread in off-topic if you need to.

What, are we all afraid now?

All we have to do is not turn it into a how soon can we get to 1000 posts contest.

EDIT: I'm out of space,...I need a bigger board.

Thanks grygrx. I do however like XX - Dos Equis (stay fuzzy my friends) better as a title. ;)

My dub board is nearly complete. Two more pedals arriving Friday and then just a decision to make on the last pedal - some kind of modulation.

  4. Hey hey! You got the Holy Fire! How do you like it?

Also, I never even considered the Vox delay. Do you find it has enough headroom/clarity for you?

    Currently:
    1) auditioning the M13 (software @ v1.04);
    2) spec'ing out a custom OC-2; and
    3) looking for a Moog LPF or "equivalent."

@ fishy fan. he changed the knobs on the pog

  7. no real changes since thread 17 or 18... but I have a couple things I need to squeeze in. I'm also thinking of getting a metal board to route cables under and around

  8. Crspy, how do you like the Wilson Wah? It is a push-button on the toe activated kind right?

  9. Yes it is.

I ablsolutely love it. It just sounds great, and the amount you can adjust which frequencies are targeted is wonderful. One extreme for lead solo wankiness, the other extreme for super-fat whomp whomp whomp :D

  10. A small update, including the signal chain:

(and apparently, according to TinyPic, my board is named "FoOgy")

    6zy7vo.jpg

    Multiple inputs (bass, feedback loop) > MX400 > EB Vol > M-80

    M-80 parallel out > TU-2 > LM > mixer channel 1

    M-80 main out > CE-5 > LS-2 (A loop - Russian Green Muff > Gemini) > RV-3 > DL4 > (off board) ABY split to:

    A: EHX 2880 > mixer channel 2

    B: Barge VFB-2 (Zoom B2 w/ expression) > mixer channel 3

    (got that? :smug:)

    SLM,

I like it,...is that just a mixer above the TU-2? Explain the feedback loop.

  12. Recent mods, reposting here.

I'm completely in love with the Sansamp btw.

  13. Yeah, that is this: MX400 It's very useful for lots of things!

My main mixer has an aux send that I have routed into the MX400, thus creating a knob controlled feedback loop. :)

Well, Here is mine, Finally organized
    Hope i'll get an ODB-3/MXR Octave/Big Muff/Delay/stuff

    v4qlq1.jpg

  15. I'd get a delay, a reverb, an octave pedal and a volume pedal. I think that's all you're gona fit on there.

Is that some breed of Pedaltrain?

Hey Warwick.hoy, I'm really liking your board. It's close to the board I would build, had I the money and concentration. And it looks neat and tidy too, so kudos! I'm having trouble seeing the patchcables though, and therefore cannot determine your path. Is it oc-2 -> tu-2 -> volumepedal -> limiter -> supercollider -> dual drive -> submarine? If so, any particular reason for putting the tuner second in line (As I've never seen this before)?

also, I'm guessing you use this board for doomsludgy music? Am I right?

  18. Seeing as there's no cable plugged into the output of the TU-2, I have to assume that it's on a sidechain. Probably coming from the tuner out jack of the EB Volume pedal.

I've switched around the drive order. It now goes P&C->Goat->Pickle->XXLB (EDIT: all individually selectable via the switch strip)
