Thread title says it all. Lets see your main bass that you've carried from show to show and just happens to be worse for the wear. Here's my 82 Fullerton RI, which I bought in new condition 7 years ago.
My 1997 MIA Fender Precision 62RI. It was babied until it was stolen and played for 4 years in a hardcore punk band and mangled. I bought it on eBay for around $500 after the original owner had it returned by the police. I swapped out the nut, sanded down the rough and nicked neck, set it up and cleaned it up. Now it plays great. I also don't care if I scratch it as it is pretty beat up (looks way worse in person)
My '63 P Bass (formerly owned by Bruce Thomas of The Attractions). It did have a gold guard, but I replaced it with a suitably worn tort.
its just a pick up switch one volume and one toneknob.... but i think ill get rid of the tone knob soon....
Hey I want to send you a birthday card. Whats your address? I'll drop it off sometime after midnight. Thats a sexy looking P-Bass my friend. Any chance of more pictures?
Now isn't that sweet. I'm out quite a bit at the moment, but pop round and I'll leave the door on the latch, don't mind our pitbull/sabretooth cross Fluffy, he's just being friendly. More photos? Now that I've got the hang of this Photobucket thing, certainly.
