I'm trying to post some pictures of my new to me rig. I must be doing something wrong. My upload from my computer keeps giving me an error msg. Can someone give me a little help.

  2. Upload your pics to Photobucket or some other file sharing site. Then, copy the image URL and paste it into the message box below.

Make sure your image file type is .jpg, .gif, or .png. Other file types have spotty support depending on browser and platform.

I go here to resize images for the web (if needed):
    http://www.resizr.com/

Download resized image and then I upload it here:
    http://tinypic.com/

Get URL from tinypic and use it in the advanced reply window with the image button.

Lots of other ways/places/methods out there for image posting, this works for me.

    Thanks photobucet works out fine.

  6. I just attach the files to MY TB from my hard drive. So long as you go low res, TB can be your upload site. You can delete olds, for new, etc.

    fnord!

  7. I use Imgur, it's fantastic. I don't really use it for anything else except putting photos on TB, and it creates a series of different kinds links, including BBCode which we use here.

Here is a TB sticky related to posting images that some will find of interest.
