Potential purchase Qs

    Hey, I'm thinking about looking at a deal on CL tomorrow and wanted to get some opinions. The amp head is a Peavey T-Max 500W and there's a 2x10 and 1x15 cabs by Gallien Krueger that come with it. The T-Max is missing a knob and the guy is asking $250 for it all.

    I currently only have a Fender Rumble practice amp, so I'm looking at any info about this setup. I have searched and read many good things about the Peavy amp, but not so much on the cabs.

    The cabs could be the SBX or RBX cabs. Decent ceramic cabs. If the 115 says backline on it then that cab is an end table iIMO. $250 for the whole kit is pretty good if it all is in working condition.

    I agree. I'm doubtful on the cabs, as they are likely the lowest or near-lowest performers GK offers. However, if you raise your budget to $400 or so you can likely find better, IME.
