...not really about pans at all!

Anyway, i was wonderinf whether someone could explain to be about different kinds of pots, 250k, 500k etc. If i wanted to swap the pots in my fretless p-bass (cos they're crap) what could i consider? I'v just got hold of a bartolini 8S P pickup so i thought the best time to replace the pots would be now.

  2. i would match the ones you are taking out
    probably 250k?
check the bart site for suggestions
i have a bart taper pan and its 250k as per their suggestion.
imho 500k are for other types of sounds.

Use 250k pots, as per manufacturer's recommendation.

My grasp on these matters is tenuous, or else I'd try to explain.
