Power amp and DI Box setup

    Hello, lookin into my first pro setup (Right now using an '80s ampeg combo that is too bulky to haul around and is too noisy)

    Considering a Sansamp BassDriver DI Box linked into a poweramp box (Recommendations?) with an undetermined (as-of-yet) cab (4x10 by all likelihood).
    Thoughts?

    another option i've considered is the Eden WTX-264 compact head with a 4x10.


    Input much appreciated! I Play a 'jaco' custom jazz bass and a G&L patpend 1500 from 1996.
    I've heard only good things about Eden, and i've sampled them in the past at Guitarcenter and had only good feelings.

    The Sansamp and the Eden are very different sounds. Are you familiar with either of them?

    You can do the same thing with an Eden WTDI... Or both preamps. They both work, they would give you a lot of flexibility, but the BDDI is a lot easier to get your hands on for a try before you buy thing.
