Power Search?

Paul- I have noticed that in my time here at TB (getting close to a year now), there have been countless threads where a newer member posts a question or comment that has been covered in depth and is told to "do a search" by many of us, as per the forum rules. I have also noticed that many time these newer guys, as well as veteran members, can have a great deal of difficulty trackign down the actual info they are looking for, even after wadign through page after page of threads. The results from teh search are often completely irrrellavent, and have little to do with the desired topic. Due to this problem, my proposition is this-a "Power Search" option. I am guessing you have seen this kind of thing on numerous other webpages, but I'll explain just for clarity sake. I think the Power Search could have various search options that would narrow down the resulting thread results to a more specific and relevant topic. ALso, the search coudl be redesigned to allow sinle numbers and letter because the current search engine makes many of the search that I have tried to do impossible because there are less that 3 charachters in part of my search topic. I don't know if this is feasible with the current TB setup, or if you have the resources, but just a thought.
