Hi. I've recently aquired this compressor which I've been very happy with thus far. My one complaint is that this thing can suck a battery dry in one long jam session (4 hrs).

I'd like to buy a power supply for it. I know Digitech recommends a particular model power supply (PS200R) BUT what I'm wondering is INSTEAD of buying the overpriced Digitech PS couldn't I just buy a 9v power supply from Radio Shack that would serve the same purpose?

    Thanks for the help
  2. My new Digitech bass synth is bad for this to. I just use a standard Boss adapter. Just make sure the -/+ poles are the same and the milliamps are enough and you should be fine with any adapter.
