Power Supply Options DOD fx25

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by Zappstorius, Mar 13, 2008.

  1. Hey guys, I recently picked up a DOD fx25 (2 knob version) pedal off of ebay. I dig the way it sounds so far. I'm curious as how all of you DOD lovers power these?

The obvious choice would be 9v battery. But I don't like the unreliability of batteries for a power supply, especially in the long run (running out of juice mid-gig etc.). The input for the power supply on the DOD pedal seems much smaller than the one for all of my other pedals.

I currently power everything with two 1-Spots, with the exception of the 18v adapter for the Bass Blowtorch, and the adapter for the Whammy IV.

Is it not possible for me to use the 1 spot for this pedal? Is there some special adapter that I could get so it is possible?

    Thanks guys

There is an easy-to-find adapter for the 1-spot, it takes a 1/8" male tip-negative plug.

  3. Awesome! Thanks guys...looks like the problem will be solved soon.
