Hi everyone. Well I'm starting out on bass and I need a practice amp. I need your advice on which one to buy (under $100.00 prfered, max of $150.00!). I really like the sound of the bassist from Blink 182, I'm lookin for something like that. The one that I'm currently looking at is a Fender Frontman 15B amp. And if it matters I'll be getting an Essex BG-80 in a week.

Check out a Peavey Microbass. It has a nice fat sound, for a little amp. IMHO, better than the Fender you're looking at.
  3. I also recommend the Microbass, that was my first amp *starts crying*.

Also in that price range you could get a used Peavey MINX 110 off Ebay those are nicer than the Microbasses and can even be used for low-volume jamming.

I'm going to go with the Peavy MicroBass because it seems to suit me better then the Minx, it's right in my price range to which is awsome. Thank OYU guys!:D :D
