practice box

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by matt_dutyfree, Apr 2, 2005.

  1. Hey I'm looking for a box that I can plug my bass and a pair of headphones into and practice with. I want some sort or metronome or drum machine in there aswell. A few effects would be nice but are tottally unesential... I want this bit of kit for practice with headphones! I don't want this near my lovely trace live rig!

So far I've found that I'm looking at multi fx boxes which is why I posted this in effects forum... If there's a better place for this post feel free to move it!

The boxes I've found so far are the digitech bp80, zoom 708II and the korg pandora. I can't for the life of me find out how many drum samples the digitech units have? So far the digitech is the only reasonable price. How do these units sound using headphones? Is there anything else I sould be looking at and which of these is gonna work out best?

    Thanks in advance!
