Practice Device

Discussion in 'Miscellaneous [BG]' started by count_funkula, Aug 1, 2001.

  1. I have asked this before but don't remember the answer.

I'm in the market for a small headphone practice amp. I want something that I can plug my bass into and play along with a CD. Actually I guess it would be a sort of combination CD player/Bass amp.

    Does such a device exist?

No, but there are devices on the market that would work, if you have a CD player to plug into them.

Rockman Bass Ace, Pocket Rockit, and a couple of others that I can't remember. The Rockman has built in effects, and a jack for your bass, headphones and an input for your CD player.

I don't know of any CD player/headphone amp all in one units, but the Korg PX3B has the ability to plug a CD player into it and mix it with your bass. It's a pretty killer headphone amp too.
