I am looking for a preamp that will allow me to switch between 2 or 3 settings via a foot switch. I had a PV mark 4 head and woudl like that sort of dual channel pre. it had graphic and para eq, crossover.

    any suggestions welcome.

  2. I don't know if this is the kind of thing you're looking for or not.
It's got some of what you mentioned.

this very well may be the way i go. 3 tones at the touch of a toe... though not a rack mount item, it IS all there in one pedal. I hadnt thought of a pedal, but this could be it.

    thanks.

since this is technically a preamp, i dont think i woudl even need one now. jsut this straight into the poweramp. could be interesting.

    ANYONE EVER TRY IT?

  4. I've been contrmplating it for awhile now.
I just can't decide if I want "real" tubes,
or if emulation will do it for me.

Here's a thread that discusses it's use as a preamp.
The whole first page is pretty much about the non-programmable.
The second page talks about the new 3 channel version.

If you do decide to use it as a preamp, PLEASE POST your
thoughts on it's performance, and ease of use, etc.
    It would be greatly appreciated!

    Good luck!
