  1. Im buying a new rig sometime soon, and it will be used alot for upright, so it will be very neautral sounding( a clarus with either a Ea or a Raezers Edge cab).

Im looking for a pre-amp that will give a P with flats a fattened tone, that I can then run through the 'flat' clarus. I've been looking at sadowsky, sans amp, aguilar, and a few others. Im looking for something similar to these stomp-box sized units. Any suggestions would be helpful, thanks.

If you have not already done so, try to do a search on Talkbass. There is quite alot of information on the pre's you have mentioned.

I have a Sansamp Bass Driver and have already done a few post on it and don't want to re-invent the wheel here. A search should provide you with what real-world people are saying about their equipment here on Talkbass.

    Hope this tip helps.
