    If anyone is serious, I would love to help out with a purchase. But I think the price is a tad high.

    I don't think that's a bad price at all. I just sold a 65 Jazz for $7000. It's in my sig, check the thread.

    She posted a bunch of other pictures...its beyond relic'd...its like SRV guitar relicd. Although, judging by the case, I would say its '63 or earlier. She won't take it apart. I think its clay dots for sure.

    Yeah, I was curious if any of those cases were sold in '64 (my '63 looks like that one). Perhaps it's an early in the year bass? Too bad she won't crack it open. That's going to make it difficult for her to get the money she'd like.
