pre-EB preamp

    does anyone know where i could go about getting a pre-EB preamp. I'm lookin to turn my new stingray into an old sounding one. Ive been to guitar shows and when i asked if they knew where i could get one they just looked at me. I understand if its like impossible, but i think it'd be cool if i could pick one up, and if anyone knew where to get one it'd be you guys. Ok so any ideas?

    Finding a pre-EB 2 band preamp would be difficult at best. Even if you find one it may not be the answer to the pre-EB sound. The original Stingrays were strung through the body and they used a different bridge. Also there are other construction differences that probably contribute to the differences in tone between old Rays and newer ones.
