I recently hooked up with a band in need of a bass player. They extensively use that bose radiator speaker PA system. I haven't played out with them yet, but will soon. I need to spend some quality time with the system. Any of you all use this bose system? If so, do you run a bass pre-amp first? Curious about any of your experiences..

I use them. You don't need a pre, but you might want one. I've used the amp/cab models in the Roland V-Bass to good effect. The Bose does offer two bass eq presets. At home I usually just plug straight into the bose, no pre, no eq preset.

Hrm.. Wonder if I should skip the pre, and just use a Line 6 Bass Podxt live or similar simulator.
