Quick question...With my BBE BMax-t, do I have to worry about Phantom Power when connecting the DI in the back? I know some amps have a problem with this, I just didnt know if it would be an issue with my pre. Thanks.
  2. I don't have the BMax-T, but I have the solid state BMax. I use mine all the time with the DI connected to a Mackie board with phantom power turned on. Works great.

the thing to do is to ask bbe

be aware that some boards put out more than 48v too.

good point. I just thought I remembered reading that the DI inside the BMax-T was, in everything but name, a BBE DI-1000. If this is so, I would assume that phantom power would not be a problem.

Alas, I will try emailing them, and see what that does for me.
