I planning on getting my sound from the PA so I'm needing a good warm tubey sound to feed into the mixer. I'm having an old AB165 50 Watt bassman refurbished for this. Should I patch directly out of the preamp, or use a voltage divider at the speaker outputs to get the poweramp sound as well? I'm wanting a clean focused sound instead of a crunchy sound. Will the poweramp add anything to the clean tone of this amp? thanks

There are also DI's that can be connected to and run off of the speaker outs.
