Anyone know of any mid-sweepable preamps that has a wider sweep than EMGs? I believe theirs go from 300Hz to 3KHz. I'm looking for something that could go down as far as 100/150Hz. I'm using the stock Ibanez Vari-Mid but the pot's shaft for the mid control/sweep got bent and I can't find anyone who has replacements. It's a weird value - 20K/ganged dual 100ks.

    Thanks.

The J-Retro/U-Retro preamp goes from 150hz to 3khz.

Thanks, will check those out. How well do you think they'll work with Barts?

It depends how you like the sound of the u-retro. It's the most flexible preamp out there on the market. However when flat, it still adds a slight eq preshape. Some people don't mind it, some people do.

If you do some searching in the amps/pickups forum, you'll find lots of j/u-retro discussion
