OK, I'm installing this pre in a P Bass and have a few questions. I'm getting no sound, please help!

#2 goes to system ground. I attached this to the bridge wire, should I be going to some other ground like a pot casing?

The black wire coming out of the pickup also goes to ground, right? I attached this to the bridge also . . .

  2. It needs to go to the ground on your output jack. The bridge ground does not provide ground..it only grounds the bridge to the ground that eventually ties to the output jack.

OK thanks, so the black pup wire, #2 off the circuit board, and the bridge wire all go to the sleeve of the jack?
