    Hello out there,

anybody an idea where I can find a Precision mute bridge,
i'm tired of putting something under it, or using my hand, sometimes i just like the mute...

for example like on a rickenbacker..
i think there are two great basses out there...
    A rick, A P-bass
with those you can rock, funk, pop, experiment away...

    cheers

i know theres a mute you can install onto the bridge without having to get a whole new one, but the name escapes me. i know marcus miller uses one, and if it wasnt like $100, id be using one too :bawl: .

www.bassmute.com But, they don't have US dealers any more so I don't know how much of a hassle it is to actually get one.

Stuff a chunk of foam weatherstripping under your strings right near the bridge...

  5. One thing you can do is glue some foam underneath a bridge cover. The foam will rest on top of the strings. My P Bass is setup that way.
