    Maple VM neck mated with candy apple red (i think) body. Fender pickup. 8.5lbs

    Some dings on the body. None that i can find on the neck.

    How's it play? Any issues? Is that a big shim in the neck, or just a trick of photography?

    it's plays well. i had the action set at 2mm at the 12th fret E with flats. there is a shim in the neck (that's what the photo is supposed to show). it's a piece of maple cut to the same size as the neck pocket. the pocket measured to be 1/32" deeper than 5/8" so i put it in there. i didn't try it without the shim but you could probably get away without it being in there and doing a new setup.

    i do not know. if it helps i can take off the pickguard and look for some identifiers but from memory there wasn't much to go on.

    no, just standard alnico pickups (not ceramic)

    Bump for Lucy. Sold me her other red/black p. Sittin'in the stand next to me w/ rosewood neck. Niiice . Great Tb'er.
