Pretty specific cab question(s)...

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by Not Mark Westlake, Feb 5, 2004.

  1. Hey,
I'm fed up with my namby pamby Marshall 25W combo. Also, my lead guitarist is fed up of said combo not being loud enough.
Anyhoo, I'm getting the 300W Behringer head (whatever the hell acronym it's been given :p), and that's pretty much cut-and-dry. However, what I don't know what to get is a speaker cab. I've got a ceiling of £300 (about $500-ish?), and have no idea which cab to go for! I know I've got to match or 'beat' the impedance of the amp (4ohms min.) with the cab, so I'm kinda limited in that sense, but can any Behringer owners enlighten me? Or simply any other people help?

    Ta very muchly,

    Mark.

  2. Holy poop!
Just found the Behringer head for £159, and a Peavey 410TVX cab for £329, so I think I've found my combo :)
    Ne'er mind...

    Mark.
