Fender Japan introduced this model in the mid-80s. It has a P-shaped body with a Jazz-shaped neck. This was Duff McKagan of GNR's bass of choice back in the day.

There were a few different iterations of this model. Most had black headstock faces, but this one is natural, which seems to be fairly rare. Also, most had V-V-T control knobs plus a pickup selector switch, but this one seems to have a V-Blend-T setup with no switch.

The bass is super light at only 7 lbs. and 4.5 oz., so you can gig this one for hours with no problem.

Typical chips and scratches of a bass of this age. The black hardware had a lot of oxidation when I got it, but I thoroughly cleaned all of it and replaced the bridge saddles with new black Fender saddles. The original saddles will be included if you want to bring it back to stock.

Control cavity shielded with copper shielding tape to reduce hum.

Set up with very playable, low action.

Asking $615 $555 shipped to the continental US.
