I have for sale a Mike Lull PT4-30 (30") short scale bass in totally mint condition. The build was done in 2019, the last full year of Mike's exemplary personal craftsmanship, and purchased new by me in early 2020. This bass features an excellently balanced ash body with a gloss black finish and matching headstock, a highly figured birdseye maple fretboard with black block inlays, dual Mike Lull T-Bird pickups, and a Hipshot D-tuner. The pickups provide a tone that's fat, punchy, and aggressive. The Hipshot A-style bridge allows for both top-loaded and through-body stringing, and the original D'Addario ECB81M Chrome medium-length flatwound strings are still installed. The bass comes with a standard Lull Protec padded gig bag. Specifications: Scale length: 30.0" (760mm) Number of frets: 20 Body: Ash Neck: 1-piece maple, with matching headstock, Hipshot Ultralite tuners, and Hipshot D-tuner Fretboard: Highly figured birdseye maple with PLEK-leveled frets and black block inlays Nut width: 1.55" (39mm) Neck width at the 20th fret: 2.47" (63mm) Pickups: Dual Mike Lull T-Birds Controls: Passive Volume/Blend/Tone String spacing at the bridge: 0.75" (19mm) Overall length: 42.25" Weight: 7.42 lbs My asking price is $2,500 plus the actual shipping cost, but all reasonable offers will be considered, as the instrument must be sold. The payment method is negotiable, although I'd prefer alternatives to PayPal. I'd be happy to provide any additional information and/or photos. I may possibly consider a trade, but only for an instrument with the following specifications: Type: 4-string fretted solidbody Scale length: 31" or less Nut width: 39mm or less String spacing: 16.5mm or less
I have a very similar Lull PT4-30 that I bought new from the shop in December. It absolutely kills. This is a fantastic, very versatile, easy-playing bass that sounds huge, I am sure. GLWTS
Great seller folks, one of the very best!! This is such a Beaut! Canadian taxes etcetera push it into Fodera territory for me; the search for a short scale Embassy-like bass continues. Someone needs to snap this up before I endanger myself fiscally in a manner unbecoming a man on the cusp of fiddy.
