This is an El Maya Ric clone. Made in Japan in the 70s The .0047 cap has been removed, so the bridge pickup sounds fuller. Single truss rod adjustable with a 7mm wrench. No major damage, just dings here and there acquired over the decades. Great player, but the neck is on the thicker side. Still really comfy in my opinion. Selling because I have a Ric and I moved across the country and need to get rid of debt. Asking $450 + shipping. I know this is a good price for this bass, so I'm kinda firm on it, but I need it gone, so talk to me. I'd do 400 for a local deal. Feel free to ask for any additional details! I'll be in NYC for the month of April, and would love to make some local deals. {} {}
It was happening for a minute or 2, not sure why. I'd guess it's something to do with photobuckets servers. I appreciate the heads up!
Yeah! These japanese copies are as good as the real deal in my opinion, and i own 2 of the real deal.
The Bass is in the Bronx. I live in California right now, but my family is still in NY. Both my dad and brother are musicians, and have handled several deals for me/packed stuff up for me. Let me know if you'd like any more info!
