  1. Im relisting this to put the price drop in the title. This is a steal for this bass.

This is a very nice 4 string Fender P bass Deluxe. It is in good shape and plays and sounds great. It has a 3 band preamp, a Trans red finish and a maple fret board. It has a few minor cosmetic issues but nothing major, all are pictured. The volume knob isnt original but it gets the job done. The neck on this bass feels and plays incredible. If this were a 5 string it wouldnt be for sale, it sounds amazing. The best part.....ONLY 8 POUNDS!!!! I just strung it up with a fresh set of DR hi-beams. It will be shipped in a gig bag. I may be interested in trades but must be a 5 string.

    $775 Shipped!!

Would you be interested in a German made Warwick Corvette 5?
  3. Hey man thanks for the offer. I've tried the Warwick and Spector thing and it is just not for me. Thanks

  10. I'm bumping it for the last time and if it doesn't sell today I'm closing the thread. And no I'm not going any lower on the price.
  11. Love to talk trades but I don't have a 5 string. :(

I sure wish that I could test drive it. I am looking for an active p/j but I don't want to rush into anything.

That's a lot of bass for a great price.

The color, maple board, abalone dots, killer pups & preamp, super lightweight..

If I wasn't strictly a Jazz Bass guy, I'd grab this in a heartbeat.

Must be cash shortages going on. Bummer. I haven't seen
one of these this nice at anywhere near the price. Good luck with
    the sale, Bro.

PS, I'd try & steam out those dents in the neck. Sometimes
they'll level out. You can moisten them with water if the finish
is cracked or chipped, then carefully and gradually with an
iron over a cloth over the ding, the water heats up and
swells up the grain back to normal.

At that price you practically are! lol

This is seriously a great deal. I can't believe it's lasted this long. I'm generally a passive guy or I would snag this. I remember when these were going for way more used. Tough economy these days... :meh:
