This is a very nice playing and sounding bass it is a 2015 date of manufacture to a 1962 reissue, it is a Fender Postmodern Journeyman Relic Bass. The action is nice and low and it has the custom wound 62' pick up which sounds fat, round and warm, and bright when you have the tone all the way up . It is a P-body with a jazz neck.

Unfortunately I don't have all the swag in the case but it comes with a fender cable and strap and custom shop Tweed case ( never used ) I have put a brass nut on it, and I have the original Nut. The bass really does sound great. I am selling it because I got hit by a car in October and I'm still incurring lots of medical bills .

It is not a back-breaker to play for 4 hours at a time ( which I do often at my electric open mic that I run in New York City for 10 years at American trash it is at 77th Street and 1st Avenue every Wednesday from 8 until 1 a.m..STOP ON BY ) I am in New York City and I will ship it to wherever you are at. But shipping is not included.
You can get a listen to it here. This was recorded on an LG v20. But you can really get a feel for how well the tone rolls off. And yes it's me singing.

And here you are , videos are from a rough jam for a friends wedding but you can get a good idea of the tone . This is a Trace Elliot Elliot Elf ( 200 watt at 1.25 lbs ) through a SVT 8x10 , and recorded on a LG V20 . Its the best I could do . Cheers

It is the Nitrocellulose lacquer Firemist gold finish.
The weight.. From a bathroom scale , minus my weight..is between 8 and 9 lbs.
It really plays and sounds nice.

Thanks for the update. Not sure from your response if the finish is relic or not, but from the photos my guess would be that it has a light relic finish. Can you confirm if that is correct? Thx!

Yes that is correct. Has light Relic finish, and make no mistake I play this bass, the bass does not sit in the case. None of my bases do. Please view the photos that are attached and you can see the webbing of the Finish. The photos are rather close up I hope you can understand.

Yes it is sir. I just had some work done too.
    She plays and sounds great.
The reason I'm selling it is because I was hit by a car about a year ago and I need to continue physical therapy, literally at all costs or I might not be playing the bass again ever. Stay in touch and let me know what you think. Have a good weekend.
If you'd like to talk about it please call me, Ross 917-213-3636
