Up for sale is my 2014 Ibanez BTB 686SC "Terra Firma" single cutaway 6 string bass.

This is a fantastic bass, with less than 20 hours of playing time on it currently.

Don't let the price point fool you, this is a fantastic bass. Great string to string response and sustan and resonance for eons. Has a fresh set of DR Hi Beams installed on it, was recently set up by Chris at Bass San Diego.

My reason for selling it: Getting my hands on a Spector Euro 6 and need to move this bass to make room.

Asking $775 shipped in the US. Would consider shipping to Canada but buyer plays shipping cost difference.

The following are some basic sound samples. Just a very rudimentary passage.

The first is recorded direct into my M-Track, clean into Reaper with no effects, plugins or compression.

The second is the BTB686SC direct into M-Track with the Ampeg SVX plugin applied in Reaper. The amp model is the SVT4Pro, cabinet is the SVT810

You get a pretty good idea of the bass' natural growl in both clips.

 

Updating the original post, will ship in a Road Runner case.
