    Price:
    $3000
    Strings:
    4
    Location:
    New York
Larger side of 5/8th's made by John Anderson of Brighton Massachusetts. Top is Canadian spruce, sides are New England cherry, back is maple/cherry mix. Modeled after Tyrolian basses of the 19th century. Made real sturdy. Big sound, records fantastically. It's been all over the world and is on numerous recordings with some of NYC's finest musicians. 3,000 is firm. 41 1/2inch string length. Clean bill of health from David Gage, never had any issue with it. Got it for a steal and willing to part with it for the same as I got it.

It's kind of difficult to get an idea of how the instrument sounds from that video, also you say it was appraised at 14500 but the listed price is $4,000?

I received the bass for a really low price, I have the appraisal sheet from Gage. I just bought a larger instrument with a C extension that suits me far better. I also DO NOT have the space for an extra bass, and quite frankly, need the money. I've been playing on this thing for 5 years with no problems. Survived many a subway ride/NYC winter. Has a fresh bill of health from David Gage and Zach Lane, brand new endpin. If you want to get an idea of the way it sounds, you can come play it!

    Best,
