  1. I have been alerted by a fellow tb'er that the asking price may be to high. Hey, i am a reasonable guy. lets go with 2800.00.

I have a ken smith 6 string bass that i would like to sell to fund a project bass. it is a 2003 model. 3 band eq, 5 piece neck through w/graphite. etc. it does have some small dings and some blemishes to the body near the neck pickup where i rest my fingers, but nothing serious. plays great and sounds just like a smith should sound. it comes with original hardcase, all paperwork and strap, new strings if desired. i can take more pictures if needed but i do not have adequate photography skills. i am only asking 2800.00 shipped because it is not mint. i would love to have a local sale so the buyer could test it out (Los Angeles Ca). i am willing to take a couple hundred less for a local sale.

i tried to captue the blemishes near the pickup where my finger rest.

    Nice axe...

man... if I had the cash I would snatch this up to add to my other smiths...

If you have it for a few more weeks or will take a 76 maple jazz + cash in trade...

or maybe work out something like paypal credit...

  6. i am willing to make a trade + cash, i really dont play alot of 4 string, but i really need a good decent 5 string. swamp ash body, maple neck etc, you know the kind. i am also willing to negotiate the price for a local sale.

does it have a matched headstock?

    whats condition of back?

  12. i bet that bongo sounds real good, but i dont think i colud get used to that body shape.

the headstock has the same wood as the body, and the back of the bass has no issues at all, other than normal wear. i can post more pics if you would like.
