Sinks on the HS and one in the front that’s barely noticeable from the front row. All electronics work as they should. The neck is set up just right and feels good to play.

Weighs in at 10 lbs 0.8 oz.

Recreating the magic from the 60's and 70's Vintage Basses, Ken Smith is pleased to introduce the KSD Proto-J series. Drawing on his many years of experience as a studio professional in New York City and as a world class Luthier, Ken Smith designed the Proto-J series to meet the demands of Professional Bassists around the world. Ken incorporated many of the features found on his U.S. Basses into a design that is familiar and recognizable to many Bassists.

This the 5 string model. With an alder or Ash not sure body and Maple fingerboard with block inlays this bass delivers a full sound with articulate highs that never become too bright. Tone can be described as deep, punchy and with enough definition to cut through in any situation.
35’ inch scale. Bound 5 string neck.
Features found on more expensive basses.
Proprietary 2 band EQ with push pull active/ passive circuit. V,B,TB stacked knob. 9 volt battery separate compartment for easy battery installation.
    Great Bass
    Price is shipped CONUS.
West of the Mississippi ad 30 bucks.

One of the most underrated basses, ever! And the neck doesn’t move! I love mine(profile pic)

Wow, this got me all hyped up! I'm really hot on a 5-24 right now, though.

I never gave these much thought, but this seems killer. Another great TB offering.
