I may regret this, but I am moving and need to shed some basses. This bass is very well cared for, no wear or marks. Roasted Walnut Body, Pistachio top, Ash neck and Roasted Birds Eye Maple fret board. only trades I am interested in are Alleva Coppolo {}
Stunning indeed. And with a walnut body and pistachio top, it's probably safe to say that the tone is delicious. And you might even go nuts playing it. And if you forget to eat because you were so busy enjoying the bass, you could always take a nibble out of the bass for sustenance. Yum!
I was thinking the same thing — actually, everything about the woods on this bass are noteworthy. I've seen ash necks, but not often. I've seen roasted finger boards, but not birds eye maple. I've seen walnut bodies, but not roasted. I've seen roasted ash bodies, but not walnut... ... and yes, there is that pistachio top. This bass is remarkable.
I have never weighted it. It's got to be close to 10 lbs, but very well balanced. I can put it on the scale tonight when I get home.
