  2. Great looking pre Gibson Classic 5 fretless. Good luck with the search for a fretted pre Gibson Classic 5. I found mine on that website that starts with an R and ends with a B....lol.... a couple of months ago. They are hard to find but keep looking, it took me a couple of years to finally find one and I got it from Sweden. It is mint condition and was barely played. I've had several pre Gibson's in the past but foolishly got rid of them for one reason or another....we live and we learn, hopefully!! hahaha..

If it had frets or the drop shoulder pickups, I would be all over it.

I’ve heard the pickup design stayed the same. Only changed shells.
But I agree if it had frets I wouldn’t be selling it.

Awesome bass. That is correct. Pickups are the same in all under serial 2044. Only the casing changed toward the end.

Wear that I can only capture is near the jack. With a couple marks which are on the pictures I took.
Instrument is very well taken care of.
Hard to believe it looks like this for the age.

    Limited time price drop $2750
