    $300
    Location:
    Tennessee
Price Drop! $250 shipped to continental U.S.

These two cabs are part of a Perfect Ten Mini Stack which I purchased new. The solid state head was rated at 65 watts and as a small practice (or in my case, living room) amp this little rig rocked. It ended up in my shop as an amp to test basses through. The head eventually died I had it repaired & it promptly died again. I gave up on it and it became a decoration.

Then came the day I lucked out & got a Little Bastard 30 watt tube from Musician's Friend "Stupid deal of the day". I purchased it with the intention of using it with the Perfect Ten cabs.

The speakers are rated at 16 ohms (each). To make them compatible with the LB, I modified the wiring in the cabinets so that I am able daisy chain the cabs.

The LB head fits perfectly on top off the top cab, which is slanted. The cabs sound great with this head. It can get pretty loud for it's size. I use this rig as my home amp for practice, jamming, etc... I wouldn't hesitate using it on a small "coffee shop" type gig.

When I bought the LB, I also saw the Ashdown VS cabinets that were available around the same time. I really liked the VS212 cab, but they were discontinued before I could get one.

Recently, I found a VS212 for sale & I have decided to make the switch.

There is nothing wrong with these cabs at all, they have been well cared for their entire life. The wiring mod causes the two 16 ohm speakers to run in parallel which allows the cabs to be 8 ohms.

Here is the cabs with the LB head:

Both have matching metal speaker grills.

Here is what it looked like with the Perfect Ten head (note that the top cab is not slanted, mine is):

I still have the Perfect Ten head. It is not working (blows fuses, like it did the first time), If someone is interested in having the head included, we can work something out.

I would like to get $250 (was $300) shipped (Con. U.S.). These will be pretty expensive to ship, I think that is fair, but seeing how I need to cover my arse with the Lady of the house, I will listen to all reasonable offers. Local pickup (Nashville/Middle Tn.) is welcome, price will be adjusted accordingly.

    Thanks for looking, .

Nice little setup with the LB-30. I've had Moonshine's other pair of these for quite some time. :D

To clarify a typo in the OP, these cabs are 16 ohms each (not watts). Moonshine cleverly modded them with a second 1/4" jack so they present an 8 ohm load to the amp when daisy chained in parallel. They handle the LB-30's output just fine.

    Very cool! GLWTS. :bassist:

Speakers are indeed 16 ohms each.

I need you to proof read all my stuff from here on out (my wife will gladly hand it over to you!). :D

    Thank you Sir.

I've dropped the price to $250. Local pickup, $200. Original, non working head included (see below).

Great little cabinets... I got the VS212 and to be honest, I'm a little disappointed in the sound; in lower volume situations such as living room jams/coffee shops/etc, the two smaller 110 cabs perform better with the LB30 (to my ears). A hell of a lot lighter too. The VS212 is a beast.

Might be selling the VS212... (most likely returning it if I do)
