A true closet Queen! Played very sparingly and never gigged. This is a bass that when Warrior first started advertising their instruments with 40 year plus wood growths. Beautiful Maroon Glossy finish with aged Mahogany body, Rosewood fretboard Maybe? Purple Heart stripes. Not sure of the other neck wood used, 34’ scale, 8.8 lbs on the Digital scale. Seymour Duncan pickups along with a SD 2 band preamp.( could be a 3 band ) Volume, PP active passive, Blend, Mid, Stacked Bass/Treble with a front, Center, Back switch. They’re are a couple of blemishes that I tried to picture but the dark rich color of the bass hides them well! One dent just above the cavity control cover. In no way does it affect playability and performance of the instrument. Frets have very little play ware! This is truly a very well made Great sounding Bass! Pics don’t do this bass Justice. Will ship in the original HSC. Securely packaged, insured, signature confirmation. Please if I missed something PM me to make any corrections to the post. No Trades! Thanks Talkbass!
If that’s one of the early builds by Jay, it must be a wonderful axe. The ones built by Dran are highend but lacking some of the magic. That being said my Bella 62 at a few years old wound up being my main bar gigging axe. It’s always a shame to sell one of them... It’s gonna find a great home with some patience.
Yessir it’s one of the JD builds and you’re so correct when you state it has the Magic. Yes it is shame when an axe of this nature it’s out on the market. And I’ll probably regret selling this one the most. My price is firm and absolutely no trades on this one. Thanks for the kind thoughts.
It’s kinda hard to describe Deep Rich Maroon or a Dark Wine color. I’ll find myself taking more pics in the Broad daylight.
