Price on old amp?

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by --Wang--, Feb 8, 2002.

  1. My school has an old Peavy TNT 100 combo they want to unload, and I just happen to be looking for an amp. I was wondering what one of these is worth used.

I played thru this amp for a month (emphasis on "a month").The TNT 100 is a budget amp that has a ton of low bass BLAH but nothing else. Used, I would not pay over $150 for it...however, if it is from your school, chances are that ALOT of people who DON'T know what they are doing have ABUSED it very much and in this case I would not pay more than $100 for it. These still may be a bit high! However, consider where you are at musically and what sound your after. If all you have is a 10 watt practice amp, this may be a good step up for not alot of money. Just keep your patience and use your best judgement when trying it out and don't end up buying an abused lemon of an amp.
