I decided to relist this fantastic P-Bass that I got from fellow TBer "Koog" just s little less than a year ago. As you can see from the thread title, it has several premium upgraded parts, including:

1.) Lindy Fralin P-bass pickup set
2.) A chrome Babicz Full-Contact bridge (the premium model, not the "vintage" one)
3.) A professionally-installed nickel nut (better than brass, IMHO)

This bass also has a premium US P-Bass Deluxe neck with the graphite reinforcement bars, 1.625" nut width and compound fingerboard radius. It is in near-mint condition, and weighs a bit more than 8.25 lbs. I recently had a professional luthier go over the bass and re-wire and solder the volume and tone controls and input jack because I was getting some scratchiness and static from them.

Included is a premium iGig gig bag, a spare black pickguard (in case you prefer that over the tort guard that is on the bass) and a black suede Levy's strap, as pictured.

Here is the thread from which I purchased this bass 11 months ago — SOLD - Frankenstein P From Quality Parts

    No trades, please!

I finally got to check out one of those Babicz bridges the other night. It's an amazing piece of engineering. GLWTS.

It certainly is, and it has quickly become my favorite bass bridge.

This is a super bass that I used in blues sessions for several years. If you like Precision basses, you won't be disappointed with this one, especially at this price.

And, as a bonus, Doug is a great guy to work with. Always smooth, professional transactions.

    Grab it, and enjoy it!

Here is a photo of this bass in the hands of it’s prior owner, Koog. He’s playing it in support of Kent Burnside, grandson of the legendary R. L. Burnside in this photo. I guess that this gives the bass some “mojo”.

As Koog said, this is truly a super bass, and it has well in excess of $1,200 in parts alone in it!

Still available, and I am REALLY motivated to sell before the end of December (pre-Christmas would be very nice)!

Make me a reasonable offer, and I will probably say “yes”.
