  4. I am almost positive he uses one of his 6 strings, and I think it's the fretted.

    Btw. have you ever managed to get a bass sound like the on on shake hands with beef? i've tried with many basses and closest thing to it was actually a gibson les paul standard guitar tuned liked a 6 string bass (with bass strings naturally) and with an added P-pickup between those les paul humbuckers. The string spacing was a bit tight, but did that thing sound crude...

    ...Oh yeah, you should see a guitarists' faces when that bloody thing is around.
     
  8. I haven't really played anything that comes close to the tone of that bass.

    That mutant LP sounds pretty wild Tuomas, any pictures?
