    there is only one bass tab i can find for harold of the rocks and i have no idea what the "S" in it means.

    You need tab for harold of the rockz?!?!? If you can't play that by ear I would give up bass and become a cook at Arbys or maybe build a garbage scow and float over to New Hampshire to sing to under privaliged children! I'm just kidding with you though, on the tab for "Pain induced captain" there is a "Cr". I called a friend in Georgia who had seen the band live (SornToge, "Living with Fear" albume) and he said during that part of the song Earl Whacks took out a carrot and slammed it against his bass! I think the Cr meant carrot!!!
