Prince Bass

Prince is EXTREMELY fond of 75 jazz basses!

 

He's been pictured with an Auerswald bass back in those days. He usually prefers a Fender Jazz when he plays bass, but the Batman stuff doesn't have that J-Bass tone. He's owned and used Warwicks and a custom Lakland in the past.

I've read interviews for years saying he prefers mid/late 70's Jazzes.

But here he is with a white Thumb Bass...
