The man is good, at the 4:14 mark, he does a G string pull with his right hand in the air! :D

You sure that it isn't Sonny T doing so?

He's grooving away discreetly on a Warwick 5 strings while sitting on a chair.

I don't see why he needs someone at the back to play bass for him, he's a fine player himself!

must be hard singing, dancing, entertaining the crowd, and playing some red hot groove on an ergonomically challenged Warwick Thumb!

Not a huge fan of Prince, but a huge fan of his female dancer, even in such pixelated form. Oh, mama....

That's his ex wife Mayte Garcia.

  12. This song has Levi Seacer Jr. on six-string Thumb bass in the background - he's sitting down at the back - he plays his bass upside down and strung upside down as well - turn out he's switched to guitar for some time now - he was / is a great bass player too:

Prince is a great bassist - but he's definitely doing a fair bit of posing here as well...;)

yeah, he isn't playing in a lot of that. I mean, how the hell can you play with all those frilly things hanging down? I think most folks who go to see Prince don't really care so much. However it should be noted the man has lots of talent.

Larry Graham has been pulling bass duties for Prince for a bit now.
I can def hear/see him playing stuff like that.

Technically Larry Graham has never played Bass for Prince(he was never a hired gun)they shared a bill together while touring and Larry would jam on a few songs with prince and they no longer tour together(almost three years ago being the last time).
